Although I didn’t realize it until the other day, my semester at university is just about to come to an end. Since the end of this semester will mark the end of my first year in university, I am actually quite excited about having the summer off so that I can recharge my batteries and be ready to kick off my second year in the fall. Because it is difficult to find short term housing during the summer, I will be spending mine with my parents back at home. The great thing about going home to live with your parents for the summer is that you get to slack off and have them do laundry for you once again (instead of worrying about it yourself).

Before I actually finish the semester and move back home, I have to finish all of my final examinations. While I have plenty of friends who are absolutely dreading their final examinations, I have stayed on top of my studies this semester, so I am actually really confident about how I am going to do. Since I am so confident, I have already set up a summer reward for myself to celebrate my success this semester. After I get settled into my parent’s place in London, I have a Stansted Airport car hire reserved for my buddy and I. Our purpose in reserving a Stansted Airport car hire is to use it for a week to take a road trip that we have planned out. I decided to take this friend with me on the road trip because we always have a great time together, and I know we are going to have a blast being out on the open road with each other.
